It rains hardest for a bountiful harvest
August! The month for rains here in the Northern part of Nigeria. Oh! Every farmer looks forward to it because he believes it will bring about a good reward for his labour. More so, the weather becomes good, everywhere is lush and green. From the smell of fresh corn to the appetising fruits and veggies, it seems a perfect month, little wonder eight signifies new beginnings but with great provision comes greater responsibility and doggedness to not be hindered by the comfort of a warm bed or the distress of wet days else one ends up like the sluggard. As it is with the seasons of rain, so it is with our lives. You see life is in seasons and sometimes it feels hot and dry, at other times wet, flooded and drowning, some other time its perfect.
