And we all with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is Spirit. 2 Cor. 3:18 (NIV) The body is made up of many parts amongst which are sense organs, and these have special features that grant them direct connection to the higher centre. They have in them the capacity to send and receive impulses and one of such is the eye. Having a ‘functional’ eye means you can see and correctly interpret that which is before you. The word of God calls our attention to something profound that makes for growth and progress and that is the power of vision ; the ability to see, to perceive. It is a principle that enables taking hold of a thing. Through scripture we see God using the power of sight to birth things in the earth realm and communicating the same to people in different dispensations, from Abraham to Moses to David to Jeremiah to the Apostles and the church.
